Working hard and staying busy!

Monday June 18th i think?

Well today I was trying to email my family when all of the sudden I got a phone call from President Thompson. I Thought I did something wrong. I answered it and he asked if I am being obedient. At this point I KNEW SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED. I thought to myself "Confess EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW." but I had nothing to confess so I was super confused? WHAT DID I DO WRONG? I responded, "Well Im trying! working really hard!" he replied "I dont like that answer." My heart sunk and I thought I was gonna get chewed out about something, but I responded "Yes. I am being obedient.". then I asked me the next question, "are you lifting other missionaries?" that's an easy one "yeah Im trying to show love and help everyone that I can." then he said "Good. The reason Im calling you right now is because, well, I want you to be one of my Assistants".
I gave a soft chuckle cause I thought I was being pranked and this was all a joke, then I realized it was Mission president and he doesn't mess around like that so I responded "Oh.... okay." then he gave me a long sermon and I was trying to keep it quick because Im being charged by the hour and I didn't have a ton of Money on me at the Email shop! He hasn't told me my companion but the Other AP's are Elder Fullmer, Simayile, and I think Elder Moyo? Not sure on the last one. Either way, I'm terrified right now. I have no Idea why he called ME! Like, there's tons of other, much more qualified and stronger leaders, that are better speakers, smarter in the scriptures, better leaders and well better Missionaries than I am? why me? why me??

I am currently sitting on the bus about to leave Bloemfontein for what Might be the last time and I keep asking myself that question over and over again. Why me?
probably from all the Aspiring I did. Lol!!
after We finished emailing, I went and Packed AS FAST AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! then we went to lunch with Botshabello and Thaba Nchu and Rocklands. Elder Lowe and I got Mcdonald's and I GOT A SPICY CAJUN CHICKEN and I ate it with Nelson Mandela and a couple Giraffes. Good day. we took pictures so I'll send as many as I can:)
then we said goodbye to as many people that were home. I'll send you pictures when I can! I love you guys.

Tuesday June 19th, 2018
well I took a bus for about 13 hours, all through the night, I got about 2 or three hours of sleep and Now Im in Durban. Today we did most of the transfers. we've been re-assigning missionaries for Saturday when we call them and tell them their news:) that'll be fun. wither way, we did this all dayyyy, with a thirty minute break in between when president Thompson took all four of us to Thai food> OH the fourth AP isn't elder Moyo, It's Elder Sala!!! That made me happy, He's super cool!!!!! He's the one that Trained Elder Abel for a transfer before I got to him. (Mom, you might Remember when Abels mom emailed you about how she was excited that elder Abel was going to be my new companion and all that fun stuff, she even mentioned my zone conference lesson about being obedient... yeah) well, now he's here! fun stuff:))

Wednesday June 20th, 2018
today we worked in the area until 3:00. I taught a lesson on a bean bag for the first time. it's nice being back in Durban! Im excited being here. Everyone speaks Zulu, it's not nearly as safe, and best of all Nobody speaks Sesotho! all good things!
at 3:00 we were back in the office and president Thompson and the four of us finished up all the transfers. We have our trainers, our zone leaders, and everyone else decided to be moved. tomorrows the day where we do all the logistics and make sure everyone knows how to get to the Bus stations and to their areas. yeah that wont be fun.
At the end of the day, President Thompson took all of us to Roco Mama's and he told us OUR transfer news.Usually, we have 2 office elders that work in Berea, and two Traveling or Training assistants. However, this time we are one Quad-panionship! which means my new area is Berea and my new companions are Elder Fullmer (AZ) Elder Simayile (SA) and Elder Sala (ZIM). and our Purpose is to make sure Berea is the model area (Help the ward split) and also go on many traveling exchanges. For example, if the Phuthaditjhaba are is struggling we might ALL go to the Zone I would go to Bethlehem 1, Elder Sala would go to Bethlehem 2, Elder Fullmer would go to Bluegumboshe and Elder Simayile would go with Phuthaditjhaba. now we Might stay 1 day or 2 and we would go over their area and teach them how to take taxis, help them have more confidence, grow their faith, help them be more Bold, etc. Then at the end of the exchange we might take their car back to the mission office and continue to grow the Berea ward. At the same time if its not necessary that all four of us can go on an exchange together, 2 might go and 2 continue to work in Berea. Pretty simple. im excited!!! Basically as long as 2 of us are together we are good. Which is funny because usually that's called a Bogus Exchange. Little did I know that my entire mission I've been practicing thins thinking it was wrong and now I have permission to do it always! I've spent so much time practicing it that now Im being promoted to the Master of Bogus Exchanges!
Besides having the coolest new job, getting fed at Roco mama's, being back in KZN, the Cherry on top that I discovered today is that the boarding, although it's small, It has a washing machine and a dryer!! I repeat we have a dryer. It almost brought me to tears. I havent put any of my clothes through a dryer in 20 months!!!!!!!! Im so happy.

Friday
Saturday
Well we called everyone tonight and gave them their transfer news. Elder Thompson was excited to stay another transfer in Lesotho. Elder Youngman was very disappointed to be received as ZL and going to Lesotho with Whiting. for the longest time We had elder Youngman going to Rocklands 2 to replace me. but then at the very end president stood up and changed it... I told him that he's going to feel punched in the gut about his situation but he insisted that it's the right thing to do. so we'll see where all this goes!! Elder Lowe is still a cool guy and He's gonna stay out in Rocklands because elder Pantoe is having visa problems and is getting relocated to Uganda. We made sure to put in a HUGE and I mean HUGEEE recognition to elder Pantoes new mission president about how great a missionary he is. He'll continue to grow that side now:)

It feels good being back in Durban!!! But I'm never gonna forget Rocklands

Much Love!
Monday 6-25
I had my first P-day in back in Durban. guess how I spent it..... 3 hours staff meeting! woohoo!! *Heavy Sarcastic enjoyment*
We did go to Jimmy Jazz and look at suits.. I decided I'll just get some Nice new church pants instead. I already have a suit, I'll be fine. But I did buy a new tie! then we taught some really cool people! Right now I am behind on my journal ad its Wednesday night. I dont remember who but it was fun and we had some good lessons! and an FHE with the Zuma Family! that was nice, we played some games!

Tuesday 6-26
Today was devoted to the arrival of NEW MISSIONARIES! This transfer was exciting getting to see all 6 new missionaries coming in. Tomorrow Elder Bennett finds out that he's going to train Elder Dos Santos from Brazil!! That makes me a Grandpa! haha
the other 5 are Elders Johnson, moser, Nichols, reay, and walametulettubabagagablahblahblah. It's a really good group!
we picked them up from the air port and got right to work. we sang a few hymns at the piano in the airport. Then we took them contacting, still in the airport. It was really great for all of us. Every singles person found someone that was interested! then, After the Airport, we took all of them to see how far along the Temple has come and holy cow it's getting close! I'll send pictures!

Wednesday 6-27
well today was Long. It was Transfer day so all four of us were in charge of making sure every missionary knows how to get to their new area and does so safely wit a companion at all times. so that was even more fun. planned for it yesterday, went to bed at at 1:00 then had to wake up at like 4:30 to catch a bus. Fun stuff. so that was just horrible. Elder Blamoh ended up bringing like 6 bags that weighed more than an elephant and expected I dont know what he was expecting to happen because he didn't bring any Money! This missionary has been a handful choking companions and stealing their stuff, just making peoples lives difficult. but we took some of his bags and I ended up being the nice guy and paying for some of his luggage.... Didn't even get a thank you. However, on the bright side, I did get to see a lot of missionaries which was really nice!
Elder Jantjies, Lucas-Rafael, Gehlbach, Jewkes,Mnisi, lahue, Cox, Pentz, Allen, Brown, etc. FUN STUFF!
and at the very end of the day we went to Elder Jewkes and Gehlbachs final dinner in South Africa. I didn't know that the AP's get invited to that but it was SO GOOD! #FreeFood! and it was healthy! I had an amazing salad!

Thursday 6-28
Today was good. except the morning, we missed seeing Gehlbach for the last time at the airport because our room is infested with Bed Bugs. but we finished up preparing for MLC today. We picked up missionaries including One poor missionary that needed to go to the Doctor. Poor Elder Mulabe thought it was a good idea to go and get Circumsized last week and now he's struggling with the side effects! haha poor guy!
We had to finish preparing for MLC today. i was in charge of the new schedule with a powerpoint and a presentation about trusting in the Lord! We didn't leave the Office until 1:30 and dint go to bed until 2:00am.

Friday 6-29
We had MLC today and It was exhausting! Woke up at 5:00a and sat in a meeting until 5:00PM! But at least I got to see some friends! I'd write More but instead... I'm Going to Bed.

Saturday 6-30
This morning there was a wedding at church! it was really sweet. the only awkward part was when Brother Mogaqa said "You may kiss the bride" they both HUGGED!!!!!!!! no kiss at first. a Hug. Everyone started shouting KISS HER!!!!!!!!!! and he finally did but it was kinda awkward! hahaha

Normal Working day. I met some really cool people and Elder Simayile and I had some really good lessons:)

Sunday 7-1
Today was Awesome!!!! Sister Ayanda Zungu was baptized!! She's actually related to the Buthelazi's From Kwamashu! So I saw the Buthelazi family on Sunday:) Also, Brother M was Baptized in Rocklands! Elder Lowe said he'd send me pictures! But I am super excited for him! when I first met him he Drank, he Smoked, he fought with his wife and the whole family was unhappy and he was extremely lazy. I don't think I have ever seen the Atonement work through somebody as much as it has through him! Now his family is united, he's living the word of wisdom fully, he's helping around the house, and he even when out and got a job. so That Makes me happy:) Great day:)
it was also the last day we have with the cars. the mission is officially walking. Pray that this is going to bless the mission.
I will send a bunch of random Pictures. I'll include Brother Mokgadi next week. But for now that's all i've got! haha
